Christmas Magic

Welcome to Winterwoodz – the home of Santa’s magic postbox!

Wildwoodz
between December 11th and 17th 2023
Book Tickets

Limited availability – maximum of 12 Children per slot

** PLEASE NOTE **

The costs to put on Winterwoodz in 2023 have risen by over 20%. This has forced us to make changes to keep it sustainable as our tiny family business has no way of absorbing those rises yet again without funding. The length of your ‘journey’ has been reduced slightly and the dates we are able to run have been reduced by a third. This is still a huge risk for Wildwoodz Ltd so we’d like to make it clear that if we haven’t sold enough tickets by 1st November, the event will be cancelled and full refunds issued.

WINTERWOODZ LOCATION / FAQs Food & Fun

Deep in the forest, we’ve discovered Scotland’s ONLY enchanted Christmas letter portal. An ancient mailbox with a magical link direct to the North Pole! Is this how all Christmas letters get to Santa?

Visit Winterwoodz with your friends and family and encounter a festive atmosphere that’ll get you all right into the spirit of the season. Come and write your letter to Santa and take it on a journey through our amazing woodland light show to find the magic postbox accompanied by one of the WinterWoodz elves. A uniquely immersive family experience that you’ll want to do every year.

Visitors to WinterWoodz enter through reception at their pre-booked start time to a place where the build up to Christmas is the only thing that matters. To the sound of your favourite Christmas music, wander through to the letter writing workshop where our elves will assist your family in writing your child’s letter to Santa. Choose your paper, note down your wishes, add stickers and have it checked by the chief elf, before sealing the envelope. In your group, escorted by your designated elf, you’ll take an interactive illuminated forest walk to the clearing where the postbox sits. To activate the magic, you’ll be asked to say the ancient enchantment that gives the postbox it’s powers.

I’ve travelled far to post my letter,
All year long I’ve been good, or better.
Please send my wishes safe and sound,
To the pole where Santa can be found.
So he can read without delay,
What I’d like most on Christmas Day.”

Once the charm is complete and the postbox signals itself ready, your child will post their letter – after posing for photos of course! When all letters are posted and the box has done its thing (we don’t want to give too much away here), you’ll be taken to the café for your complimentary hot drink and maybe some cake and a browse for stocking fillers or souvenirs before your session closes.
